For the safety and security of our service users, we do not publicise the address of Cedar House. If you would like to get in touch with us, please visit our contact page.
Cedar Housing was set up by Nottingham-based Christian church Trent Vineyard. We want to provide a response to homelessness in south Nottinghamshire that reflects our faith and is informed by our values (see next FAQ). In practice, we deliver our work, without discrimination, to people of all faiths and no faith. We do not seek to 'convert' anyone to Christianity, either as an aim or a condition of our support for them.
As a Christian charity, we place a strong emphasis on the values that underpin our organisation. The five values; Faith, Hope, Worth, Grace and Life, define the relationships that we develop with the women that we support, the way that we conduct ourselves professionally, and the way that we seek to live our lives as staff and Trustees.
Cedar Housing Nottingham is an independent charity (number 1125369) and a company limited by guarantee (number 06565953). Our first service for young women (Cedar House) is a franchise of Aquila Way's Naomi Project, which has developed over the past twenty-five years in Gateshead. Aquila Way is a registered charity (number 1107554) and a company limited by guarantee (number 5400083). Visit www.aquilaway.org for more information and follow them on twitter: @aquila_way
