Cedar Housing - Hope for the future and support to get there

what we value at cedar housing

Throughout our work at Cedar House there is a set of common values that is intended to guide our staff's behaviour and all decision making. By seeking to apply these values consistently, we aim to follow Aquila Way's example of delivering excellent support to women of all faiths and no faith.

The values are:

Faith:

Faith in a God who keeps his promises. We should keep our promises.

Grace:

God sent his son to die for us, not because we deserve it, rather because of his amazing love. This defines our love for others with second, third and fourth chances rather than legalism defining our work.

hope:

Hope in an Eternal God, a God of the future. Dreams for the future are something we have for those we work with; our hope is that they, too, will come to dream.

worth:

Each of us is special and valuable. We value everyone equally as an individual and for the contribution they can make.

life:

Life in all its fullness with Jesus. Our work is not motivated by money, personal ambition, property or fame; rather it is our faith which drives all we do.
