volunteering opportunities with Cedar Housing

We realise the positive contribution Volunteers can make to service provision by sharing a variety of valuable skills and experience.

Cedar Housing aims to develop a team of dedicated volunteers and we are excited that there are a number of opportunities for volunteers to get involved with the work at Cedar House.

Some of these opportunities include:

• helping with the day-to-day running of Cedar Housing in areas such as laundry, cooking, cleaning
• assisting with administrative duties
• becoming a trained volunteer befriender, offering help and support alongside a paid Support Worker and encouraging residents to engage in activities in and outside of Cedar House
•  providing learning, social and skills-development activities, from craft activities, to beauty therapy sessions - you tell us what you can do and we'll see if it fits!

We're looking for volunteers who share a commitment to our values. These values not only reflect who we are as a charity, but also shape the way that we respect, value and support the women that access our services.
